Drawing Compasses
A compass, also known as a circle compass, is a drawing tool that helps you make perfect circles. Most commonly, a compass has two adjustable legs, one of which has a tip and the other to which you can attach a pencil. The legs are set at the distance you want the radius of the circle to be, the tip marks the centre of the circle and by turning the leg with the pencil you draw a perfect circle. An ultimate tool for those who draw a lot or study geometry. Some of our compasses also have a built-in pencil holder, so you don't need to attach a pencil to it - very convenient. In addition to drawing circles, compasses can also be used to measure distances on a map, for example.
