Ink
Markers and inks are two different types of liquid colour with slightly different properties. Here we have collected both ink, which usually consists of synthetic dyes and is water-soluble, and ink, which is pigment-based and permanent once it has dried. Both can be used in many different ways, in pens or with a brush, and which one works for you depends on what you want to use the colour for. For your fountain pen, you should use ink, as the ink can dry out and ruin the pen, but if you are going to make a line drawing and then paint over it with watercolour, for example, it is best to use ink. Either way, you'll find it in this category!
