This exclusive watercolour block contains 20 cold-pressed sheets of the highest quality, made in France. The paper is produced from 100% cotton using traditional mould-made techniques, resulting in an exceptionally durable surface that absorbs moisture evenly across the entire sheet. This provides optimal control over water, pigment and transitions in watercolour painting.

The natural white, acid-free sheets are designed to preserve artworks over time and prevent yellowing. The textured surface enhances brushstrokes and colour variations, making the paper ideal for both detailed work and more expressive watercolour techniques.

This paper is produced by the historic French paper mill Arches, founded in 1492. With centuries of craftsmanship, Arches is a trusted choice among artists seeking reliable and timeless watercolour paper.

The block is glued on all four sides, keeping the paper perfectly stretched during painting and minimising buckling when using heavy water loads.
