Canson Montval is a watercolour pad featuring cold-pressed paper suitable for both beginners and experienced artists. The 300 gsm paper has a lightly textured surface with a fine grain that provides excellent pigment adhesion. It absorbs water evenly and offers good control over colour, making it suitable for both detailed work and smooth colour transitions.

The durable surface makes it easy to rework, correct and lift colour when needed. Made from 100% cellulose, the paper is ideal for watercolour, gouache, ink and other wet techniques.

The pad contains 50 sheets of acid-free and FSC-certified paper, glued along the short edge for ease of use.
