Caran d’Ache Museum Aquarelle Marine is a set of 20 professional watercolour pencils in a colour selection specially developed for seascapes and marine subjects. The palette includes both warm and cool shades, with blue and green tones for water and sky, lighter colours for reflections and sea foam, as well as grey-brown and reddish shades for rocks, shadows and sunsets.

Museum Aquarelle pencils feature a very high pigment concentration and soft, water-soluble leads that provide intense colour and good coverage. The pencils can be used both dry and with water to create everything from precise lines and details to soft colour transitions, washes and watercolour effects.

The pencils have a hexagonal barrel made from FSC-certified cedar wood and a 3.8 mm lead. The colours offer high lightfastness, and the pencils are designed for artistic work where high standards of colour and results are required.

The set contains 20 colours and comes in a metal tin.
