Since 1975, Neocolor II Aquarelle has established itself as a classic in the art world thanks to its versatility and the intensity of its pigments. This anniversary honours 50 years of art and inspiration.
Neocolor II are high quality wax-based watercolour crayons from Swiss Caran d'Ache. The crayons are water-soluble, meaning they can be used both as regular crayons and to create watercolour effects when mixed with water, allowing you to explore a variety of techniques and styles.
Neocolor II are known for their intense and vibrant colours, smooth application and excellent lightfastness. They are ideal for both detailed work and larger areas of colour.
This limited edition anniversary set includes 35 classic colours from the existing range along with 15 brand new, exclusive shades created specially for the 50th anniversary. The crayons come in an elegant PEFC-certified light beechwood box with a magnetic closure and gilded hinges. The box is adorned with the Caran d’Ache logo in gold and the inscription “LIMITED EDITION”. The set also includes a blank colour chart to organise and personalise your colours.
