The smooth sheets can be coloured and cut, then heated in an oven. The shrink plastic then shrinks up to 40% in the oven and the result is a plastic-like object with a protective surface - all of your own design!
Place on baking paper in a preheated oven (not hot air or steam) at 170°C for a few seconds. Keep an eye on the shrinking process - after a few minutes the figures will start to shrink and curl up before becoming straight again. Then they are ready!
Shrink plastic can be coloured with markers designed for shiny surfaces, such as Uni Posca pens or other pens designed for glass and porcelain. If you want to make a pendant, it is important to make the actual hole before the shrinking process.
This is a great craft product that can be used to make key rings, jewellery, small figurines or other fun things.
Shrink plastic is available in a few different variants from us.
