Hahnemühle Velour Pastel Pad is a high-quality pastel paper with a soft, velvety surface that provides excellent adhesion for soft pastels and oil pastels. The special velour surface allows multiple layers of colour to be built up, creating smooth transitions with a depth and luminosity that are difficult to achieve on traditional pastel papers.

The paper’s unique texture is particularly well suited to subjects with soft shapes and textures, such as portraits, animal fur, clouds and atmospheric landscapes. The velvety surface captures pigments effectively while giving colours a soft and vibrant appearance.

The paper is acid-free and age-resistant, making it suitable for artwork intended to be preserved over time. The pad is glued along one short edge and contains 10 white sheets.
