The set contains six classic colours that provide a great foundation for colour mixing and a variety of painting techniques. The thick, creamy consistency is particularly well suited to painting with brushes and palette knives, building up layers of paint and techniques where texture is the focus.

The Heavy Body range has a high concentration of lightfast artist-quality pigments, providing bright, lasting colours and a satin-matt finish when dry. The paint retains its shape well, making it possible to create distinct brush and palette knife marks, while remaining smooth and easy to mix and work with.

The colours can be used on canvas, paper, wood, card and other suitable paintable surfaces. They can also be mixed with Liquitex acrylic colours and acrylic mediums to create custom shades and adjust the properties of the paint for different techniques and effects.
