Procyon combines the great features of a discreet fountain pen with its minimalist design.

The nib has a pentagonal profile, which allows for a little more flex than is otherwise standard when it comes to fountain pens adapted for writing. The line variation is quite tight, but a sense of springiness is still evident.

The fountain pen can be filled with Platinum fountain pen cartridges, as well as with bottled ink if a converter is inserted.

If bottled ink is to be used, this procedure is very simple. Platinum demonstrates that the Procyon picks up the ink from an inclined bottle right down to the last drop. This makes the ink last longer and minimises cleaning. It's perfect! The pen's cap also has a ‘slip and seal’ function that seals incredibly well and thus prevents the ink from drying out between uses.

The body is made of polished aluminium and is therefore very comfortable to hold. Details in shiny chrome complete the design. Supplied in a gift box together with a blue-black ink cartridge.

Procyon measures 140 mm in length (120 mm without cap and 156 mm with the cap on the back of the pen). Weight: 24 g.
