The Schmincke Soft Pastel Set of 30 contains a generous selection of soft pastels with a high pigment load and intense colour strength. The pastels are made with a minimal amount of binder, resulting in an exceptionally soft application and rich colour laydown on paper.

Their velvety consistency makes it easy to create both smooth gradations and more expressive colour areas. The colours adhere well to textured paper and blend easily directly on the surface to create depth, contrast and subtle transitions. The high pigment concentration provides vibrant colours with excellent lightfastness.
