The colours separate and form dreamy, soft‑edged patterns as you work. Larger colour shifts appear when they are used with plenty of water – especially when you first blend them out in the empty palette of the set.
These fantastic watercolours are handmade in Japan and add wonderful gloss and shimmer to your illustrations. In addition, they fluoresce when exposed to black light (ultraviolet light).
The traditional Japanese watercolours contain water‑based shimmering pigments and are suitable for both professional artists and hobby painters.
The colour pans can sometimes look a little uneven, which is due to the handmade manufacturing and small air bubbles that may form during production. This does not affect their performance, however – they are of absolutely high quality.
