Pitt Graphite Matt pencils are designed to produce an extra-matt graphite finish with minimal light reflection. The pencils create deep, dark tones and are particularly suitable for shading and drawings where the traditional sheen of graphite is best avoided. Castell 9000 pencils are classic, high-quality graphite pencils that produce consistent lines and a wide range of grey tones with a more traditional, slightly glossy graphite finish. Combining the two ranges makes it possible to work with both matt and glossy graphite effects, adding greater depth and variety to drawings.
The set contains eight Pitt Graphite Matt pencils in grades HB, 2B, 4B, 6B, 8B, 10B, 12B and 14B, as well as eight Castell 9000 pencils in grades B, 2B, 3B, 4B, 5B, 6B, 7B and 8B. Also included are a blending stump for smooth tonal transitions, a standard eraser, a kneadable eraser and a metal pencil sharpener.
All 20 pieces come in a practical metal tin that protects the pencils and makes the set easy to store and carry.
