Find the right refill for your pen

The easiest way to find the right refill for your pen is to check the brand. Many brands have their own standards when manufacturing their pens, meaning they also have their own specific refills. So, it's not as complicated as you might think! Simply find your pen's brand in this guide, and you should quickly get an answer to which refill you need. We also sell refills for the majority of pens in our range. If you don't find your brand in this guide, feel free to contact our customer service – they will be happy to help you. Fisher Space Pen

With Fisher Space Pen, it's simple — their range consists solely of ballpoint pens. The Pressurised Cartridge for Space Pen & Parker fits all their pens, except for the Q4 model (which we do not stock). So, whether you have a Bullet, AG7, or a Cap-O-Matic, you can be confident that the same cartridge is used.

This cartridge also fits all Parker ballpoint pens and any other pens that use Parker’s standard refill size, provided you use the small adaptor that comes included.

LAMY

Fountain Pens: All LAMY fountain pens use the same ink cartridge, the T 10 Cartridge, except for the 2000 model, which does not accept either cartridge or converter. There are two different converters from LAMY: the Z 28 converter can be used in pens such as AL-star, Joy, Nexx, Nexx M, Safari, LX and Vista. The Z 27 converter is used in models like Logo, Studio, Linea, Accent, Dialog 3, Aion and CP 1.

Ballpoint Pens: For most LAMY ballpoint pens, you can use the M 16 Ballpoint Refill. It fits models like Logo, LX, Safari, AL-star, 2000, Scala, Imporium, Noto, Studio, Aion, Ideos and Econ. Exceptions include Pico, Scribble, Agenda, and Pickup, which use the M 22 Ballpoint Refill.

Rollerball Pens:

When it comes to rollerball pens, all LAMY models with a cap use the M 63 Rollerball Refill. This includes models such as the Safari, AL-star, 2000, Imporium, LX, Studio, Logo, Aion, Vista and Scala.

For rollerball pens without a cap, such as the Swift, Tipo, Tipo AL, and Dialog 2, the M 66 Rollerball Refill is used.

Parker

If you have a pen from Parker, finding the right refill is very easy. There is only one ballpoint refill, one rollerball refill, one fountain pen cartridge, and one converter that fit all their models.

All Parker ballpoint pens (such as the Jotter and Jotter XL) use the QuinkFlow Ballpoint Refill. All their rollerball pens (such as the IM and Sonnet) use the Quink Rollerball Refill. For fountain pens (like the IM and Duofold), the Quink Fountain Pen Cartridges fit.

Parker’s Converter also fits all their fountain pens.

There’s also an alternative to the ballpoint refill — the Gel Ballpoint Refill, which shares the same dimensions. It can be used if you prefer a smoother, more fluid ink flow in your ballpoint pen. Several other brands use Parker’s refill size as a standard for their ballpoint pens. One example is Rotring, whose ballpoint refills match the Parker standard (and fit all Rotring ballpoint pens).

Pilot

Pens such as the Falcon, Capless, and Justus all use the same cartridges: the IC-50 Namiki/Pilot Cartridges or the Iroshizuku Cartridges. The only exception is the Pilot MR (Retro Pop and Animal), which uses standard international cartridges (see further down for compatible options).

Platinum

All fountain pens from Platinum use the same cartridges and converters. You will find the 10-Pack of Cartridges, 2-Pack of Cartridges and Converter suitable for pens like the #3776 Century, Preppy, Plaisir, Curidas and Procyon.

Platinum also offers Carbon Ink cartridges, a pigment-based ink. If you use Carbon Ink, it’s essential to clean your pen thoroughly and regularly, as the ink can dry and damage the pen if not properly maintained.

Other Refills to Know About

If you have a multi-pen (a pen containing several cartridges inside), it is most likely refillable with D1-standard cartridges. D1 cartridges have the same length and thickness across brands and are used in multi-pens from Rotring, LAMY, and Platinum. Here we have gathered a range of D1 cartridges.

What is the International Standard Size?

This standard is used by several brands, meaning you can mix cartridges from one brand with another brand’s pen. Examples include Herbin Standard Cartridges, Waterman Cartridges, and Caran d’Ache Chromatics. These fit pens like the Pilot MR, TWSBI Swipe, and Waterman fountain pens.
