Explore colour and texture with the Liquitex Professional Heavy Body Gem Theory Set. The set contains five professional acrylic paints with a thick, creamy consistency and a Gem Theory palette of bright, saturated colours that evoke the intense colour world of gemstones.

The Heavy Body range has a high concentration of lightfast artist-quality pigments and retains brush and palette knife marks particularly well. This makes the paints ideal for techniques where texture and visible tool marks form part of the expression, such as palette knife painting and building up thick layers of colour. Once dry, they have a durable, satin-matt finish.

The carefully selected palette offers plenty of scope for working with strong contrasts, softer transitions and custom-mixed shades. The acrylic paints are suitable for canvas, paper, wood, card and other paintable surfaces. They can also be combined with other Liquitex Heavy Body colours and acrylic mediums to vary consistency and effects.
