It depends on the pen and its surface and material. The engraving is generally more prominent on coloured/lacquered pens, as the material under the lacquer, which is often brass, is visible. The colour of the text is therefore brass-coloured and gold-like. The engraving is more subtle but elegant on uncoloured metal or chrome pens.

If the pen has a hat, the engraving is usually placed there - otherwise on the pen body.

Procyon is one of the brightest shining stars in the night sky, and we do understand why Japanese brand Platinum has named this pen after the star. This pen truly brightens your writing experience!

Procyon is made out of polished aluminum and the fountain pen's nib is precise and writes very smooth. The lid had a patented slip-and-seal mechanism which prevents the ink from drying out in between uses. Delivered in a gift box together with a blue-black ink refill. The pen can be refilled with Platinum converters and ink cartridges.
