Horadam Gouache is Schmincke’s professional gouache range, featuring a high pigment load, excellent covering power and a characteristic velvety matt finish. The colours can be used directly from the tube for opaque results or diluted with water for thinner layers and softer transitions. They blend easily and can be reactivated with water after drying.
The well-balanced colour combination is particularly suited to skies, twilight scenes, silhouettes, cityscapes and nature-inspired illustrations, while also working beautifully for creative projects focused on deep tones and subtle colour transitions. Together, the colours create an atmospheric palette inspired by the warm light of dusk, deep shadows and the characteristic tones of the blue hour. The high pigment concentration provides vibrant colours and excellent control over both fine details and larger areas of colour.
