Sennelier Pastel "à l'écu" contains 36 soft pastels in a varied selection of colours for artistic work. The pastels are made from fine pigments mixed with chalk and porcelain clay, giving them a very soft consistency and making them easy to apply, blend and tone.

The set contains 36 selected colours, providing a broad palette for working with colour mixing, contrasts and smooth tonal transitions. The pastels are supplied in a practical wooden box that protects the pastels and makes it easy to store and organise the colours between uses. The pastels should be fixed after use to preserve the finished result. Due to their chalk content, they are not suitable for washes.
