Sennelier Pastel À l'écu contains 80 soft pastels in a broad selection of colours for artistic work. The pastels are made from fine pigments mixed with chalk and porcelain clay, giving them a very soft consistency and making them easy to apply, blend and tone.

The set contains a varied colour palette suitable for details, colour fields and smooth transitions. The large number of shades makes it possible to work with subtle colour variations and create different expressions without having to mix every tone from scratch. The pastels should be fixed after use to preserve the finished result. Due to their chalk content, they are not suitable for washes.

The pastels are supplied in a box that makes it easy to store and organise the colours between uses.
