Winsor & Newton Studio Collection Watercolour Pencils is a large set of 72 watercolour pencils in a wide range of colours. The varied palette offers plenty of possibilities for everything from drawing and sketching to detailed illustrations and watercolour techniques.

The highly pigmented, wax-based pencils can be used dry like traditional coloured pencils for shading, tonal transitions and layers of colour. By adding water with a brush, the colour dissolves and can be worked to create smooth transitions, washes and watercolour effects.

The pencils have durable leads designed to resist breakage and can be sharpened to a fine point for detailed work and precise lines. The extensive colour selection includes both bright and muted shades, as well as a broad spectrum of greens, blues, reds, earthy and neutral tones.

The set contains 72 watercolour pencils and comes in a practical metal tin.
