Pentel
The name of the Japanese brand Pentel is a combination of the English words “pen” and “tell”, as in telling a story. Pentel was behind the development of the felt-tip pen as early as the 1960s and today offers an extensive range of products, from artists’ pens to mechanical pencils!
For over 70 years, the company has been supplying the market with high-quality, innovative pens. In our Pentel range, you’ll find a variety of mechanical pencils and rollerball pens with clever features and functions. Pentel developed the technology behind the rollerball pen, which has become a firm favourite both here at Pen Store and across the global pen market. The ink in a rollerball pen is water-based and therefore flows more easily across the paper than the oil-based ink used in a ballpoint pen. This gives rollerball pens a smoother writing experience. Our range includes the classic EnerGel as well as several other rollerball pens with gel ink.
Every pen is manufactured in the company’s own factories with a strong commitment to quality and precision. Pentel pens often combine stylish design with practical functionality. The range isn’t limited to pens made from plastic or aluminium – Pentel has also expanded its creative range to include pastels, watercolour pencils and coloured pencils.
