This edition features pen bodies decorated with elegant and traditional Japanese designs - all created using the modern Maki-e technique. Modern Maki-e is a Japanese lacquer decoration technique made by silkscreen printing.

Preppy is a simple but extremely affordable fountain pen from Japanese Platinum.

The fountain pen is refillable and can be used with both cartridge and converter. It is also really comfortable to write with and has a good ink flow.

Pen body in lacquered plastic. Steel nib.
Tip width: Fine (0.3 mm)
Includes a black ink cartridge.

Refillable with Platinum fountain pen cartridges available in a range of colours. Can also be used with Platinum Converter to refill the pen with bottled ink (not included).
